We have reached November and it has been a very interesting and challenging year. I hope you have found ways to stay healthy in all aspects of life, physical, mental and emotional. COVID-19 has affected all of us in one way or another. A good friend of mine has posted daily one comment that rings true in times like this.
The worst thing you can do during a pandemic is weaken your immune system.
Ways to boost your immune system:
Healthy eating - eat more fruits and vegetables, lean meats, cut out the processed foods
Exercise - a daily walk even if its around your house
Sunshine - even through a window helps to boost your Vitamin D levels, especially this time of year
Fresh air - 5-10 minutes outside
Plenty of water - minimum of 64 oz a day
Rest - 8-9 hours of sleep a night
Be positive and kind to one another and we will get through this.
